There is a serious lack of reading matters on the matter of buying and building a home of your own for the ordinary laymen. Buyers are often at the mercy of unscrupulous developers who have no qualm about taking advantage of their fellowmen. It is for this reason that I have decided to write this book.

The few books that are available in the market are usually foreign published and have little application to the local scene. Many of their practices are not applicable in the Philippines such as the laws passed by our congress and how they are interpreted by the Supreme Court.

Many buyers are suffering unnecessarily because of lack of knowledge concerning investments in the real estate business. They are not getting their money's worth out of ignorance. It is time the buyers be informed of the many useful tips and traps they should avoid in buying their dream homes. There is no substitute for knowledge and know-how when it comes to making such a large investment as buying and building your own home.

I do not pretend that this book is all-encompassing, but it will at least alert any home buyer to be on the lookout for problems that are sure to confront him during his search for a home. Every businessman is entitled to make a profit, but not when he is ripping-off unsuspecting customers. This is what I hope to accomplish with this book.

It is my sincerest hope that this book will go a long way in helping an ordinary buyer make the right decision, ask the right questions, and get the satisfaction that he is not being cheated out of his hard-earned money by unscrupulous developers and contractors. - Armando Ang (author)

Tips And Traps When Buying Or Building A Home is a book that has become increasingly popular among foreigners (and Filipinos alike) who want to build a home in the Philippines. If you are considering living in the Philippines, or considering building a home in the Philippines, this is the book for you. This book is 30 chapters and just under 400 pages of excellent insight, information, suggestions and help, for those who want to own their own home in the Philippines.

Unfortunately, many people (especially foreigners who are married to Filipinas) make the mistake of listening to 'third' parties, thus making major errors, concerning the building of their future home, thus causing them to lose hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in the process. This book will help you avoid that. Others have e-mailed us, asking where they may buy this book, being outside the Philippines.

Until now, no where we knew of, offered it for those living outside the country. However, you can now purchase "Tips And Traps When Buying Or Building A Home" now, through Living In Cebu. Just click on the purchase links (just below the image), and we will send a copy right out to you. The price for this book is $75.00 USD flat rate (shipping included), anywhere in the world.

We typically do business through PayPal. However, If you do not have a PayPal account, there are alternate ways for you to make a purchase.
